What we collect
Account details you give us (name, email), device metadata the SDK reports (OS, app version, locale), and screen captures — only after the person on the device taps Allow. We never capture silently.
Where it lives
Captures are stored in the data region your workspace chose (EU · Frankfurt by default), encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is limited to your workspace’s seats.
How long we keep it
You choose retention — 30, 90 or 365 days. When it lapses, captures are erased and a deletion notice is POSTed to your webhook. Consent-log entries stay immutable for audit.
Your rights
Export or erase any user’s data from the dashboard (Devices & users → Delete this user’s data). Questions or requests: privacy@snaply.io.
